"Eva Pointing Out the Happy Land." It is in very good condition and shows a scene from the book "Uncle Tom's Cabin", by Harriet Beecher Stowe which was published in 1852. This mid 19th century engraving was published in an American literary and arts publication in 1856. Engraved by F.E. Jones from a painting by A. Hunt, the dimensions of the print area are, minus margins, approx. 5 by 7.75 inches, and the overall size is approx. 8.75 by 6.25 inches. There is a tear in the right side margin that extends towards but does not reach the engraved area of the print. This could be covered with matting. This is not a reproduction or reprint.
